The results of the first call as part of the European Funds for Łodzkie Voivodeship 2021-2027 Programme have been announced. Local governments will receive over PLN 250m for employment support for job-seekers, in particular those with the most difficult situation on the labour market.

The call was coordinated by the Voivodeship Employment Office in Łódź as part of Priority “European Funds for Employment and Integration in Łódzkie Voivodeship” (Measure: “Employment support – District Employment Offices”) where the applicants eligible for funding included only District Employment Offices from the Łódzkie Voivodeship.

“We did it! We have showed that we can keep our word. In May, at a press conference featuring Minister Grzegorz Puda, we promised that we would announce the first competitions by the end of the year.  It’s July, and the results of the first call as part of FEŁ 2027 were announced,” said Grzegorz Schreiber, Marshal of the Łódzkie Voivodeship.

The project support is addressed to persons who have registered as unemployed at District Employment Offices, in particular those who are experiencing a difficult situation on the labour market, including women, young people and the elderly, persons with disabilities, long-term unemployed, or low-skilled persons. They will benefit from such forms of support as vocational and psychological counselling, training courses, community work and traineeships. The first project implementation agreements were signed with beneficiaries at the turn of July and August.

The total amount of funds allocated for the project funding in 2023 and 2024 amounts to over PLN 257m.

The value of the European Funds for the Łódzkie Voivodeship Programme 2021-2027 is EUR 2.74bn.
