Strengthening young people's trust in the EU and building new education systems in cooperation with other countries are just some of the plans for Poland's presidency of the EU Council, as revealed by Minister Barbara Nowacka.
As part of the preparations for Poland's presidency of the EU Council, Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka announced that one of the priorities will include actions to promote cooperation between EU countries to build more resilient and inclusive education and training systems. The Minister also promised to ensure access to high-quality lifelong learning for every individual.
In support of youth, the Polish presidency will work on strengthening young people's trust in the EU project.
The Minister of Education revealed these educational plans for the Polish presidency of the EU Council during a meeting with Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, Director-General responsible for education and youth at the European Commission.
Poland's presidency of the EU Council will begin on January 1, 2025, and during this period, the Minister of Education will chair the EU Council for Education and Youth Affairs.
