The Members of Parliament elected the new Bureau of the Parliament, with all 14 Vice-Presidents and five Quaestors being elected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 11 Vice-Presidents were elected in the first round of secret voting, and three more were elected in the second and final round. The vote for the Parliament's Quaestors took place on Wednesday, in two rounds of secret electronic voting.
The Vice-Presidents and Quaestors of the Parliament for the first half of the 10th term are listed below in order of precedence, determined by the order in which they were elected.

The Bureau of the European Parliament consists of 14 Vice-Presidents and five Quaestors along with the President. The Bureau establishes the rules for the efficient functioning of the Parliament. Its responsibilities include drafting the preliminary budget of the Parliament and making decisions on administrative, personnel, and organizational matters.
The scope of duties for each Vice-President or Quaestor includes specific responsibilities within the Bureau, assigned by the President. In addition to their roles in the Bureau, Vice-Presidents may substitute for the President, including presiding over plenary debates when necessary and representing the Parliament at certain ceremonies or events. Quaestors handle administrative matters directly affecting the MEPs and are advisory members of the Bureau.
When electing members of the Bureau, political groups strive to ensure that the Vice-Presidents and Quaestors broadly reflect the size of the groups and consider the results of the vote for the President.
